Nick Brown I thoroughly enjoyed HCE's EP and completely thrashed it. I still put it on and enjoy chilling out or even jaming along on the drums. When they bought out "Game Life" as a single I just knew I would love this album. And I do. It's got groovy tunes like their EP, but they have built on their sound progressing from the soul/funk sound and have incorporated their influences from break-beat and electronica, among others. Favorite track: Earthship.

One Foot 04:22
LYRICs Will you wait and see For an insight to breath Do you push and leave For that dream to achieve CHORUS And love Being the only rush So much Never seeming enough How can you choose Between the ones you love and the things you love Will a compromise be enough for you Will you compromise Now will you wait and see For an incite to breath Do you push and leave For that dream to achieve Will you age and learn For ambition continues to burn Turn your back on your dreams For it's your children's turn CHORUS -----------

Hey Sister 05:57
LYRICS A little girl knew before she was ten how important it was to follow the trends TV dreams had filled her head All she knew was what she's fed She thought that by wearing those shoes Show individuality the power to choose Little did she know, they had planted the seed the powers that be filled her mind with need Shes sixteen chasing her dreams Like one of those girls from the magazines Money, fashion, perfect skin... She's got to be thin She thought that by fitting in her problems would dissolve and give in little did she know - they would linger she got so thin she could barely lift her finger CHORUS: Hey sister dry your eyes It's not your fault they sold you lies Hey sister dry your eyes It's not your fault they sold you lies When she turned 21 it was nearly too late She gave up on love and believed in hate What she saw in the mirror was a disgrace Regretted those dreams decided to chase Looking back on the choices she made She realised she wasn't to blame but her TV dreams all those years ago that sealed her fate The little girl is now 44 had a girl of her own she named Adore the same mistakes, unfortunate fate - would not happen to her baby she swore When Adore turned ten her friends would cry 'we can't fit in no matter what we buy' She knew it came within - this little girl has a blessed disposition CHORUS x2 Hey mister magazine editor CEO chief Meet our little sisters and their lives you filled with grief Hey mister magazine editor CEO chief Meet our little sisters and their lives you filled with grief Now she can lift her finger Now she can lift her finger Now she can lift her finger Now she can lift her finger -------------------

'Bout Time 04:54
LYRICS He's feeling helpess Choosing to help less Proving she's selfish She's using he's selfless Hiding, running, leaving and learning And always returning Always be apologetic Seeming so pathetic Smiles that hide he's dark inside Try to talk about it Try to walk it off Try to stand up Try to make you understand CHORUS Taking time to choose to lose Pleasing me, pleasing you So cold to touch Eyes are shut Arms are crossed Face is leaking chin is down (you're still not speaking) She lost what she once sold And now she remains cold She took it all for granted Wished she finished what she started Warm to touch Eyes worn but bright Arms wide open He is hoping He won from what he learnt And now he's clear of hurt Heard what was suggested Gains a new perspective CHORUS Think it's about time to lose I think it's about time to give Think it's about time to move I think it's about time to live -------------
5.
Earthship 03:08

LYRICS Egotistic times lead to dormant minds Following through to those worried eyes Procrastination is your temporary friend There a beginning but no sight of an end Closing those eyes won't make them go away Open your eyes you got something to say Shy voices should be left far behind Throw all those excuses to the confine side Keep smiling those thoughts are only fleeting One compliment is all it takes all it needs Closing those eyes won't make them go away Open your eyes you got something to say --------

Game Life 04:18
LYRICS I found forty cents and a game to play the game arcade tempted me in... Inserting my dosh I felt a big rush as the screen it sucked me in Looking around I found my playground of pixels and 8-bit sound Picked up my pixel sword and swung it at the surging horde of flickering beasts as I reached the highest score Coins scattered far and wide only viable inside this game that sucked me dry CHORUS Shifty feet, itchy eyes over spent, over game life shifty feet, itchy eyes over spent, over game life We need money to survive Money to live our lives It controls what we can and cannot do There are rules to abide by Fools follow blindly rules that may not even hold true Level me up I earned another life Put your money forward to join me if you like That's all it takes to enter the game Insert coin to begin to join the hall of fame CHORUS x2 .

LYRICS Is it the same old conversation that made you so complacent? Are they listening to every word, even though it's so absurd? I think all you need to be given is just the time of day Just for you speak, to hear a little bit of what you say I been listening to what you need I been listening to what you need CHORUS I come from the department of conversation baby I'm diggin what you're saying, what you're saying to me I hear you talking babe I'm looking in your eyes But when my mouth is moving all you hear is lies I watch you walking baby, can't take my eyes away But when it comes to something real I leave you out to dry I been listening to what you need I been listening to what you need CHORUS Been listening Been listening Been listening Every word from your lips puts a picture in my mind (won't you stop) Don't carry on we're wasting too much time I've been listening all night long you know what I came to do Hang on baby where you running to? CHORUS ----------

LYRICS One regular pattern One simple understanding A first impression In making her decision One look to acetane Warm eyes and he shall gain One first impression And in second it could all change CHORUS He listening, wondering, gathering And she will fall This look she will digest In his obvious interest All these colours of grey so now he can only guess as she continues messing with his head he desires His vision wanders asking himself what is wrong this desperate seeking and constantly reaching Taking far too long A need to contact to make an impact a first opinion in case she moves on One last motivation cos she has almost gone CHORUS x2 --------------

LYRICS All without a sound All without a sound All without a sound All without a sound What he missed made him sing and brought the tears to his eyes and what made him sad is what he had and that it was all left behind The thoughts of strangers feared The change of peers, his world turned upside-down Frustration felt, and anger dealt And all without a sound All without a sound All without a sound All without a sound All without a sound ---------------------
