This was a jam that Ed would start off, it turned into a tune and we kept the name. How confusing it would've been for us to change the name! We've done it before, but someone shouts a name of a track onstage that you think you've never heard before, or you see it on the set list and you're like.. 'whaaa?'

Merlin Lepper! He jammed with us a few times on bass, and whilst playing this tune he came up with the bassline that lines the belly of the chorus.
Stunning, ragged-edged funk and soul—if you didn’t know this was new, it could be easily mistaken for a rarities comp from the late ’60s. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2017
This was the first album I ever listened to as a teenager, and it remains as impressive as I remember it being. I really can't recommend it enough, especially if you're into experimental spacey jazzy hip hop. asherarataki
